Services
EconoVision distinguishes itself through in-depth analysis and creative solutions for business and government related issues.
We work from our offices in the Netherlands (Rotterdam, Utrecht) and India (New Delhi).
We apply our experience and methods particularly in infrastructure and transport, development aid and (health)care. We are equally comfortable in venturing in other areas and sectors as long as we feel that our experience and methods are relevant and can add value.
EconoVison researches and evaluates all possible issues, analyses the outcomes and does, wherever required, the advocacy on behalf of the client.
- Evaluation
- Lobby and argumentation
- Business and policy analysis
EconoVision’s track-record is well established in particular in:
“Evaluation: to look back and
look ahead.”
EconoVision regularly conducts evaluations for clients. The objective often is to provide the arguments for a new direction in management and policy. Evaluations can also help understand the effects of decisions made in the past. EconoVision thus employs evaluations in order to look forward or to look back. We also deal with current processes of course.
The assessment is based on agreed objectives, and conducted either numerically or qualitatively.
Examples of "Evaluation" projects
Ex post evaluation of the Dutch Aviation Act
EconoVision participates in the evaluation of the regulatory system for the operation of Schiphol Airport. In this context, the evaluation will review the impact and outcome of the 2006 Aviation Act. The relevant aspects are the tariff structure, the quality levels of services rendered and the level of market accessibility for airlines in relation to the use of airport infrastructure. The competition regulator (NMa) plays a key role in the monitoring and enforcement of these aspects.
Support for starting Dutch entrepreneurs in India and China
For the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation we have conducted a quick scan of a financial investment facility for Dutch entrepreneurs starting in India, China and other emerging markets (Package for Growth, F4P). Based on the scan, an expert opinion was drafted which was instrumental in modifying the operation of the F4P facility. As a result, the facility is now better tuned to investment-related conditions abroad.
