Ex post evaluation of the Dutch Aviation Act

EconoVision participates in the evaluation of the regulatory system for the operation of Schiphol Airport. In this context, the evaluation will review the impact and outcome of the 2006 Aviation Act. The relevant aspects are the tariff structure, the quality levels of services rendered and the level of market accessibility for airlines in relation to the use of airport infrastructure. The competition regulator (NMa) plays a key role in the monitoring and enforcement of these aspects.

The key components of this policy (taxes, crew and environment) have proven to be the main driver for the success of the entire sector.
